Fighting Niger

Tinubu may think he understands the Hausa/ Fulani but for common sense, fighting Niger Republic would have been a big lesson for him.

Before fighting Niger, we have to

understand why the Nigerian Army, Air force and the Nigerian Police have been unable to defeat the Boko Haram and Banditry amalgam in the North.

The reason is akin to why an away team gets beaten unexpectedly in Football.

The Nigerian Army is playing away match in the North. They lack the support of the locals.

That Soldiers from other geo political zones are sent their is in tandem with the fact that those ones see the sense in fighting boko Haram but soldiers from that zone think of affinity, first.

Fighting Niger would even be worse due to the International dimension and the weaponry to be applied.

I served in Sokoto State and know that the average Niger man, sees Sokoto as an extension of his country. The boarders are that porous.

We should not fight Niger either now or later, until the boarder states feel threatened or see the need for a fight.

Ecowas should nurture good governance not fight or violate the sovereignty of Independent States.

Sanctions are in order not war. We are neighbours not enemies.
