In sympathy with Oshiomhole

 

Adams Oshiomhole is like his friend Emilokan a man from the blues.

Remember he was severally described as an

OBIOMA or London Tailor to some.

One thing you cannot deny him is his intelligence.

He was a most dynamic Labour Leader. He was as popular and effective as they come.

The first shocker I got from this enigma with an enigmatic past was his roots and connection to Late Tony Anenih.

Anenih was a most unpopular politician. The big Newspaper advertorial Oshiomhole carried for Anenih took me by surprise.

I also understand that Oshiomhole could be a beneficiary of the wide generous arms of the Evil Genius.

Today out of office as governor and a Legislator, he is showing flashes of his old crusading self.

But to associate with Emilokan who finds favour with the Evil Genius, Oshiomhole's crusades would at best be shades of light and darkness.

His latest contribution to national discourse is to the effect that Emilokan's policies need time to gestate.

My question is which of them?

The missing trucks of rice or the coastal road with a suspect Environmental Impact Assessment?

To be a Mandela or a Gani Fawehinmi is no walk in the park.
