Nigerian Reps need Anti - corruption classes not Nigerian pupils

In 1979, in the midst of the scandal surrounding a missing N2.8b missing Oil Money, the then Senate Leader, Olusola Saraki granted Vera Ifudu of

Nigerian Television Authority, an interview that was aired Live.

Gleefully, the Senator announced that the missing money had been traced to an account in Midlands Bank in the UK.

I personally do not know to what purpose, the announcement was made but what followed was even more scandalous than the missing money.

Immediately after the Interview, Nigerians sought to know the owner of the Midlands Bank Account to which the money was traced.

Immediately, after that, Vera Ifudu was summoned to surrender the tape of the Interview. She did and her employers demanded her own copy and she refused.

For that, she was sacked. Thereafter, Jim Nwobodo, who was Governor of Anambra State, under opposition Nigerian People's Party, NPP, employed her and the matter ended with the beleaguered Senator, denying he granted the Interview.

My Dear readers with the above in mind, please who stands in need of anti - corruption classes, the Representatives or the people?

What I shared is a slice of the sleaze from our Nigerian Representatives. Remember, Dino Melaye was in Etteh's Camp. Have you forgotten, Mr. Integrity Farouk Lawan and the OteDollars or then Speaker Salisu Buhari and his Toronto Certificates?

In spite of the log in their eyes, Nigerian Representatives want to introduce anti - corruption classes in primary and secondary Schools. No, what they need are good examples and well funded public schools so that they do not, JAPA.

  1. My brother, our politicians like to believe that the problem is with the other person or sector, they want us to see them as saints but we know better. May the good Lord help them to learn faster.
