Who will tell PMB?

PMB says no Nigerian should complain of hunger because we have farmlands and rain from God.

Even the farmlands are from God.

But who will tell the President that

apart from flood, that bandits and herdsmen are making life difficult for farmers.

I do not know of any part of Nigeria where the problems of banditry and herdsmen are absent.

By law a country's embassy anywhere is regarded as part of its territory. It is perhaps in Nigerian Embassies abroad that the activities of bandits and herdsmen do not happen.

But who will tell the President?

Shetima, BAT's running mate was Governor of Borno State, when Chibok happened, but he did not tell the then President, immediately.

His reason was that the President had several channels of getting information.

Perhaps, he forgot that as Chief Security Officer of his state, he ought to know first and then apprise the President if only to demonstrate that he is on top of events in his State.

I wish the world will know our level of degeneracy. A Governor sits by while 200 girls are kidnapped for political reasons.

Honestly, I support those who feel government officials should patronize government Institutions with their children except for exceptional reasons like a proven lack of capacity.

Were the Governor's children to be in that school, would such a brazen act wickedness have happened?

Meanwhile, food prices are rising and people are struggling.

I know that there is a vehicle called National Council of States where the President meets with ex Presidents and serving Governors. Such a channel would be a good avenue to inform the President of the activities of herdsmen and bandits as it affects farming.

PMB may not know but this matter about food is one area that Nigerians are surprised that he has not tackled adequately granted that he is a farmer and a hard-nosed Army General.

The good thing is that like PMB has observed, his time is gradually coming to an end for a new hand to lead the way.

  1. Elder P, I believe that Mr. President has more than enough information. May be he is overwhelmed

Our system of governance is so crude that, when an aspirant will a good intentions gets to office but later see the enormous situations. He will not resign honourably. He will keep pushing and wasting time. While the entire system suffers.

PMB as a retired general thought he can easily defeat Boko Haram and Bandits within months of getting to the Presidency. Unfortunately, the reality showed him otherwise.
