Big Brother Naija, God and Man

Big Brother is highly controversial for it's amoral presentations. I find it quite

entertaining.

What I find intriguing is that the average Nigerian is religious. It is difficult to find a group of Nigerians in a competition for three months without recourse to God.

I have heard this view, and I agree with it, that inspite of the ills in Nigeria, we still have to realize that, without religious activities, Nigeria would be far worse.

The average Nigerian is good irrespective of his ethnic group. We love God and respect God.

To cramp several Youths in one space with strict rules on religion is indefensible and should be reconsidered.

It is the reasonable thing to do. Many of the 18 year olds who are qualified to watch the show cannot do so because of the anti religious stance of the show.

I cannot deny that there are redeeming features in the show. It is at the root of showing the way for the Youths of our country.

A private initiative it is but we should own it and support it. The hostility and division it generates and causes today is unhealthy for both the show and the country.

Properly harnessed, it can be a family show. The Youths are the future. Just like at home, we do not ignore or leave our youths to their devices, the Big Brother Show should not be treated like it does not matter.

It does and should not be treated like a pornographic show that should be watched in secret.

No, it should be legitimized not like it is illegal now but the immoral content should be revised and made more positive.

I do not have all the answers but with a national will, sure an acceptable way would be found.
