Peter Oluyinka Odumakin: so it is possible!

He came, he saw and he conquered. In

a day and age where integrity is in short supply, this activist who until death was married to an activist, proved many wrong.

His life was a life of struggle. As a student, he did not use his position to bully others but fought for the cause of Democracy and good governance.

He changed according to his convictions. He served Buhari's Congress for Progressive Change and he was excellent. He was an ally of BAT in National Democratic Coalition.

At death, he was no longer an ally of both BAT and PMB. It is instructive that he was able to turn his back on these two in spite of the enormous powers they wield today.

Yinka may be gone but there are lots of lessons to learn from him. He was a young man in the midst of men of power and influence. He did not use it to grab power or money or position.

His was a life of excellent service clothed in wisdom and intellect.

Left to mourn him is his amiable wife of Igbo extraction, who like him is a fearless activist. Yinka would be sorely missed for his principled stand on issues.

May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
