Northern Elders questioning questionable individuals in blockade, peace deal
Who will tell the northern elders that their demand for compensation is
questionable?They complain of extortion in the South East and South South corridor by security forces and so the Federal Government should compensate them.
And I ask as follows: who compensates easterners who for long have been complaining about the multitude of road blocks in the South East?
Do the security forces give receipts for the extortion?
How come the Federal Government have to do the refund?
Perhaps it is part of Federal Government revenue?
Northerners have their ways which is peculiar to them. It is allowed.
It becomes annoying when they start making childish claims.
If easterners and others who ply the Eastern corridor complain of extortion without asking for compensation go unnoticed, why would northern elders resort to blackmail to achieve the same objective?
The sole reason, I am up for Igbo Presidency is for a sense of belonging to be fostered on all Nigerians.
To make some people feel superior without any justification is a recipe for chaos.
We owe it to ourselves to Foster unity in diversity based on equity. Any other way is suspect.

Thank you sir for this write-up. Where I want to disagree with you is on Igbo presidency.
ReplyDeleteSir we need to go our separate ways since they Northerners do not want restructuring and as long as the Constitution of Nigeria is only favourable to them.
The best thing that will happen to us is to go our separate ways that way we as a people will know our worth.
