I pity these soldiers!

I am worried by the fate of the soldiers who arrested five Fulanis in Abuja. The

Fulanis even before the conclusion of investigations have been dubbed armed robbers and I say, how come?

They were five in a car loaded with guns.

In addition to the uncertain fate of the soldiers who dared stop the Fulanis, I am concerned about the person who provided the Intelligence that led to the discovery.

The one thing that is very clear in this matter is that it had reached a dead end on arrival.

You may imagine why I am so sure? Worry no more. The soldiers are, as told in the report to hand the suspects to the police.

There exactly is where my assurance comes from. Head or Tail the Fulanis are game.

If the police want rapid promotion handling the case as the men who will come looking for the culprits request is a sure gateway. If they are from Ogun State, they may lie without being found out that they owe the concomitant rapid promotion to the fact that they are from gateway state.

If they are from Delta they can claim that their bosses have a big Heart.

If they are from Abia, they can always attribute it to Divine intervention, since theirs is the only God's own state.

To do otherwise is to attract rapid demotion and I doubt if under this Covid -19 induced economy any married policeman or woman with children will try such bravado.

There you see my reason for saying that heads or tails, the Fulanis are to come out smoking against the soldiers who dared to arrest them and the loose tongues that provided the intelligence.

However, there is a third opinion: Umaru Dikko was Fulani like PMB, why did he order Umaru to be forcibly brought home from UK? Perhaps, the suspects did what Umaru did, in that case the police can do their work as stated in their manual.
