The chickens are coming home to roost

Sometime ago, the subject of discourse on this platform was finding the

sponsors of kidnappers.

A friend of mine who is a Pastor once told me of his suspicion of the Nigerian Police. A child was kidnapped from his church and the tone of the Police in those trying times was rather suspicious.

A Fulani, who are the current fall guys in the present kidnappings has reiterated that the Police are clueless in stemming the tide of the wave of kidnappings in the land.

He says, the Police usually fail to act on intelligence given to them. Rather they ask for Identity of the kidnappers after failing to nip the event in the bud.

Add to the above the case of the kidnappers who asked to be paid in mints and at the end of the day, security agents were the first to be found with the marked notes.

Good that the God we serve is not asleep. So it has been our security forces all along who have been troubling our sleep. May they sleep no more.

We arm them to protect us only for them to turn their arms on us. It is sad indeed.

The sleeping Senate, say they want to debate the matter. Let us see, what they will come up with.

Remember, the Senators are among the few who were immuned from kidnapping.

Let us see, what they will come up with. Meanwhile, I congratulate our security forces for cleverly demonizing the Fulanis.

The Fulanis may not be innocent, but the security forces really took everyone for a ride. Now their cups are full. Who will bell the cat?
