Season of Prophecies

Never mind that they did not prophesy correctly about Covid - 19, our

prophets have gone to town again. Nothing makes a man happy like knowing about his tomorrow and knowing it will be good.

I recall when Pastor Tunde Bakare prophesied that Obj was going to be killed shortly after he was elected President in 1999.

Late Stella Obasanjo cried to Bakare. Pastor Enoch Adeboye responded that his God as if Bakare has another God, did not tell him that Obj was going to be killed. In the end, Obj was not killed.

I also recall when Late Professor Gods power Oyewole predicted that the name of the potential winner of the 1979 Nigerian National elections was in the Bible. Of course Obafemi Awolowo was Jeremiah and Nnamdi Azikiwe was Benjamin, both names in the Bible and Shagari was not in the Bible.

In the end Shagari won and Professor Gods power Oyewole claimed that Shamgar was in the Bible.

Prophecies are time tested but only God knows tomorrow. I do not doubt that God talks to men but what I am not so sure about is if they truly say what God tells them.

God is a Spirit and his ways are not our ways but those whose ways are our ways are playing God.

This is responsible for my doubt. As 2021 approaches, the prophets have gone to town. As they do it like man and unlike God, I wish them well.

To further solidarize with them, I join them in predicting that tomorrow will be one of the seven days of the week.
