Rivers on my mind

Rivers State of Nigeria has always been a hotbed of controversy in Nigeria.

Oil rich and votes rich.

Rotimi Amaechi from PDP to APC and

his pivotal role in the regime of Buhari.

Now Wike from PDP to Ministerial appointment in an APC government.

The beat goes on.

How will the current saga end?

Governor Fubara was the choice of Nyesom Wike, now things have fallen apart.

I recall the saga between Theodore Orji and Orji Kalu.

Theodore Orji while in EFCC detention received his Certificate of Return as duly elected Governor to succeed Orji Kalu.

Soon after succeeding his erstwhile Boss, Theodore Orji made Abia State too hot for Orji Kalu.

Today, Wike is away from Rivers but as FCT Minister.

Today, Rivers State is very much on edge.

How do all these make Emilokan feel?

Already he has dug himself into a hole of hate, all in the name of Ambition.

For a populist that I know him to be, this is not what I feel he wants.

However, experience has taught me that the Yorubas are right in saying that whoever does what no one has done, will see what no one has seen.

It is happening and let fawning followers learn.

Nothing is new under the sun. Due process is very key.

Usually more haste results in less speed.
