I am not surprised

There is this saying that when a big problem wrestles one to the ground, smaller ones will be having a field day on the person.

Nigeria's leadership is in the hands of a

man, who said it was his turn and by means known and unknown took over.

To that extent, docile Nigerians have become very vulnerable to all kinds of assault invited and uninvited.

At this stage it becomes very difficult to challenge any external attack while the home front is chaotic.

With the financial sector, having a bad name at home, I am not surprised that our banks are being accused of infractions.

All traders are dishonest but Nigerian businesses will always be a target due to the odium that was there but now worsened by our political choices or lack of it.

My advice to the banks is that they should comply and clean up their acts like cows without tails.

Any hope of a diplomatic support should be quickly forgotten. Otherwise as in diplomatic circles, a proper response would have been a tit for tat but we lack the image, will and know how for such a simple task.

Let our excuse be Emilokan.
