Abuja, a Capital of lies
The Orka coup made IBB, scamper to Abuja. Today, with the News of the renovation of the same Dodan baracks from which, IBB fled, you begin to
wonder if Abuja is a northern city or Nigeria's capital?Northerners were not really, totally at home with Lagos as Capital. The coming of Tinubu has seen northerners raising eyebrows about some of his moves in the direction of Lagos.
Like Obj said about, MKO not being our messiah. He too is not our messiah but unlike IBB and Tinubu who seem to have a mutual fondness for each other, he was both at home in Lagos and Abuja.
The late Abacha was to all intents and purposes a tyrant. Sadly, one interesting fact about tyrants is that they are cowards.
For all his grandstanding with NADECO, Abacha avoided Lagos like a plague. It was so bad, he indirectly anointed a successor in sending Abdul Salam to represent him in opening MKO gardens in Ikeja, Lagos.
Tinubu is not only a crafty politician, he is showing traits of a tyrant by trying hard to head home instead entrusting his safety to the care of one Nigeria.
If only he had planned his Presidency based on equity and not on bravado and trickery.
I hear babablu was a strategy. His infamous illness terminal or assumed was a subterfuge to hoodwink the north into believing that in no time Shettima will assume office.
Now, he is in the saddle, he needs the comfort and cover of his people, MC and co.
So much for one, Nigeria and patriotism.
