Like Ngige, like Tinubu

As Labour Minister, Dr. Chris Ngige was not worried that Medical Practitioners were leaving Nigeria. His

response was that we had more than enough.

Speaking in Owerri, Tinubu says Nigerians should not worry about the current Brain Drain, because Nigeria will train more people.

Both men belong to APC and somehow, they manage to miss the point, that government has a duty to grow the economy with available resources including labour.

As a welfarist party, mass unemployment does them no favours. They should think more of job creation than thinking of building dubious institutions to further swell the job market.

That Nigerians are voting with their feet against our country is a vote of no confidence in the leadership of Nigeria.

Any team where the players want to leave enmasse usually takes a look at the management because, ultimately the players are recruited for a purpose.

In this case,  the players are needed elsewhere and we are not saying anything about the management.

Often, it boils down to choosing between the management and the players. My candid opinion is that replacing management in our situation is the right call.

Ngige, Tinubu and their ilk should take responsibility for inability to manage the resources available to them.

Like Ngige made way for Obi, in Anambra State, to the delight of the people of Anambra, that course of action is still available to Nigerians.
