In sympathy with Alake

Dele Alake, journalist, politician and acolyte of Tinubu, forgets he is in the temple of power.

As a veteran journalist, he must have so

schooled his mind about power and how to get it, that he is not sure he is in power.

When Tinubu talked of grabbing power and running with it, one day and it is already here, like Obj is being haunted by his talk of do or die politics, he will come to rue his favourite route to power.

I can imagine Dele Alake, Bayo Onanuga and Joe Igbokwe decry the activities of men in power in the past.

Having snatched power, he still lives in the past and blames powerful Nigerians for the ills of the society just like when they were eyeing power.

Wake up. You and your master are in power. If the heat is too much, get out of the kitchen.

You did not grab power to lament. Do your work or quit. It is that simple.

Lagos is no Nigeria. Lagosians may tolerate you but Nigeria deserves more than you think.
