I am tempted to write on Biafra
First, it was the way the Elections went against the background of the threat by IPOB, that there should be
no elections in the South East. Then the report of a skirmish between a pro Biafran group and the Cameroons.
Now the report of the Birthday of the man who led the team that produced Ogbunigwe and led in refining palm Kernel similar to what Indonesia is gloating about.
Much as I romanticise with the idea of Biafra, I still feel Nigeria deserves to work.
For the East, I am at home with the individualism that drives competition but when it comes to marginalization I tend to freak out.
There should not be marginalization where we have effective and efficient representation.
There is allocation and there is Internally Generated Revenue. Why did Peter Obi not plead Marginalization?
At least Peter Obi's stewardship is now a flagship in Igboland. Others should never plead marginalization again.
Let the Igbo elites follow Peter Obi's lead and give Igboland the kind of leadership that will tap from the ingenuity of the Igbos and let Nigeria thereby gain, instead of confusing shouts of Marginalization.
All in all, I believe worthy service by Igbo politicians would bury all thoughts of Biafra.
Meanwhile what is there in Bakasi that IPOB is taking the lead?
