What Tinubu cannot corrupt does not exist

Alternatively, I wanted to title this piece, like Tinubu like IBB.

IBB, styled himself the evil genius because, he was disturbed by the belief

of Nigerians that he was capable and responsible for too many mischiefs.

I was a young man during the IBB regime. I was a teacher. IBB settled me. He settled person's across the social strata of Nigeria.

In the end he failed.

Tinubu, who was described by IBB as a good man has started along the same trajectory.

During the Elections he said Emilokan and threatened fire and brimstone if he did not get elected.

In the end he got it and knowing that he did not win fair and square, he called for a union government.

INEC said, go to court. To court, the losers went and got a mangled deal.

The effects are there for all to see.

What inspired this piece is the attitude of Wole Soyinka to Tinubu.

If you are surprised, I am more surprised.

IBB after dribbling himself into stepping aside, proclaimed that the only Nigerian he respected was Gani Fawehinmi.

Don't ask me why, ask IBB.

By the time, Tinubu like IBB gets his fill of Nigeria, gleefully, he will say, the only Nigerian I admire is Peter Obi.

I believe you know why.

  1. I love your style of expressions which neither attacks nor offends and you leave your readers to draw their own conclusions which I reckon is the best style that can keep one out of trouble. For instance, nobody can take you up on this because you have not accused anyone of anything and only those endowed in the decipherment of innuendos can grab the message. Ironically, the so-called professors who at a time sold themselves and their integrity to those they ought to distance themselves from would never know few people are still able to read between the lines and understand where they stand and why they make some of their highly suspicious statements.
