Sex and power

Over time, sex has had a big influence on the affairs of men.

David had to commit murder for sex. It

is that bad.

Women and men equally trade in sex. Many a man has fallen due to the power of sex. So too many marriages.

In our schools today, a lot of allegations are coming out not unconnected to sex.

The latest accusation of public note is that of the University of Calabar. Not being versed in these matters, I would not have written on this but for the intended solution by the University of Calabar to the effect that henceforth, only women would be principal officers in their faculty of Law.

If you ask me, I think this short cut cannot be the solution.

For a start, are we saying that only women are in that faculty?

Secondly, does it not occur to the authorities that male students could also be victims?

Most importantly, what will be the fate of qualified men in that faculty? Will they be made principal officers in other faculties? 

Should they transfer to other Universities in order to be made principal officers?

What I think is that a wholistic approach be put in place to tackle this challenge in that faculty and in other faculties too.

Good enough, the challenge is worldwide, for this reason, the approach of others be looked into for adoption instead of this discriminatory kneejerk approach by Unical.
