India on my mind

For those who blame Nigeria's woes on colonialism, need I remind them that like Nigeria, Britain colonized India?

India has a vibrant textile Industry. Nigerians go to India for medical

tourism.

What else is India known for if not for being a member of BRICS?

India has landed on the part of the moon where US and Russia are absent!

The latest from India apart from buying crude Oil from Saudi Arabia with Roubles instead of dollar is that in line with their non dependence on foreign exchange, they have banned Rice EXPORTS!

Can you imagine Nigeria banning the export of Crude Oil because of high price of fuel?

That is what India have done, by banning rice exports in order to have enough for domestic consumption.

Just imagine a village chief telling his subjects to take their foodstuff to the village market instead of selling to the city traders?

Villagers sell in the city because they need money for goods only the city can provide.

For the villagers to listen to the village chief, it means he knows how to meet their needs.

The Indians unlike Nigerians have less need for foreign exchange.

Nigeria should stop blaming colonialism. Our faults are in our character not in our history.

It is not too late!

  1. India has made a good success in IT, medicine, engineering etc. I remember Gigan, Shunms series in Economics, Statistics, Pandy in Financial management .

Our dear country Nigeria lost it since we abandoned 4 years rolling plan system. Every administration does whatever pleases them. Saudi Arabia uses technology to monitor every drop of Oil in an era when vessels of Oil are missing in Nigeria territorial waters.

The Bible is right when it talks about foundations.

We hope in the Almighty God as the present situations are precarious.
