Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Ayo Balogun alias Wizkid, says he steers off politics because ordinary Nigerians do not care about politics.
He says he is focused on making
Nigerians make Hits in music.What does one make of that?
Man, they say is a political animal. If Wizkid's business is disrupted for failing to make a political statement, I believe, he would cry foul.
Politics is an inescapable fact of life. If he is forced into making statements for or against same sex marriage, I believe he would think twice.
He believes the ordinary Nigerian cares more about food on the table than politics, pray, do political decisions not affect putting food on the table?
Right now, Wizkid can do with some Afghanistanism but not for long.
His competition, Davido is politically savvy for many reasons. His charity work is growing in leaps and bounds.
Wizkid should smell the coffee. It is never late.
