INEC and the suspended Adamawa REC

 

Wonders shall never end. It was ex US President, Barack Obama who said that the bane of Africa was not corruption but weak institutions.

INEC by name is supposed to be Independent, but we know they are not

and they are not hiding it.

What I cannot understand is why INEC that is in court unable to explain it's disgraceful conduct in the 2023 Elections is filing charges against one of their own.

Many may want to know if they are wrong in prosecuting one of their own?

They are not wrong but he who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

So far, INEC have been unable to show their clean hands in the Elections.

There are talks of the embattled Official having collected a bribe of N2bn. Could it be that his bosses are angry that he wants to act alone?

There are also talks of the beneficiary of the man's result, being a victim of her party's dislike.

There are also talks of not wanting a woman to be governor.

All in all, I am at a loss why an Institution seemingly in sync with the ruling party will be prosecuting one of theirs for seemingly favouring their paymaster?

The truth of the matter is that what has been revealed will be a child's play compared to what is so far hidden from the public.

INEC's day in court on this matter should be fun!
