In sympathy with ECOWAS


Very often, when Nigeria fails in International competitions, especially in sports, it boils down to wrong choi Ices.

Today, one of our own has been made

Chairman of Economic Community of West African States and I shudder.

I shudder because, when fish rots, it starts from the head.

This individual is my President and I cannot question God.

It is bad enough that he is my President, God willing, I can live with that. Even Nigerians are reeling with that, but it is worse when we afflict Ecowas with our burden.

Make no mistake about that, God can bring punishment on a nation through her leader.

Extending it to Ecowas is my worry because, he is not our best and competing without your best is not a sure sign of seriousness.

My consolation which I am sure Ecowas is aware of, is that, he is not our choice and he knows it.

    I concur with you. I really sympathise with ECOWAS.

    Though is not an election (Nigeria turn to be ECOWAS leader, I guess) but they would have skipped Nigeria's turn and give it to a more younger president that's not questionable.
