Since the inauguration and swearing in of President Bola Ahmed, Tinubu, he has been hugging the headlines.
Well, his opponents in the February 25, 2023 Elections have been hugging the headlines too
I listened to a commentary on the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal where the commentator was saying that the Judges were human and we're aware of the shenanigans of the elections but their ruling will be based not on their feelings and opinions but on the evidence adduced in court.
This is where, I feel, Obi is smart. With the weight of the evidence being taken to court, President Tinybu's giant strides will not sway the judgement in his favour.
Do all he may, Obi is going toe to toe with him and televising the oroceedi gs woyld have turned the hearings into a best selling movie that would have slowed down, President, Tinubu.
President Tinubu may go far, but he cannot go further than the truth about to ve unravelled I. the courts.

ReplyDeleteFor me, I desire to play cautiously with the tribunal. I take the default position that Peter Obi will lose the petition. I watch the news carefully to see what magic their Lordships will deploy to achieve this. It's not that they need any in Nigeria though.
