Igbos should trust the Constitution

With a flurry of appointments by President Tinubu, Igbos are wondering if they would be considered?

Nigeria may not be as good as we

desire but there is still constitutionalism in Nigeria.

The Principle of Federal Character is enshrined in our constitution and must be obeyed.

Understandably, since the Igbos are not enamoured  of the ruling APC, prominent Igbos in Labour Party and the PDP are most unlikely to get appointments.

However, since there is a modicum of Igbo presence in the APC, unpopular Igbos in the ruling Party will surely be compensated for braving the odds to remain in the Party.

As the Igbos are hungering for Government appointments, the Igbos of the APC are brimming with a sense of entitlement and are more hungry for what is constitutionally, theirs.

The difference between PMB and Tinubu, is that like Obj, Tinubu has his eyes on the world and will act accordingly. He trusts in western civilization and would do everything to belong.

  1. Well, with Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla as the Chief of Naval Staff, let me align myself with your submission and still watch. I haven't seen the list of the newly appointed heads of Federal Government owned establishments . Perhaps after that, I will be able to take a stand.
