US, Abiola and BAT

Do not be surprised that the US is sending a delegation to Tinubu's inauguration.

Firstly, INEC not US conducted the

elections.

It is not the US that Buhari is handing over to.

When MKO Abiola ran to the US after the June 12, 1993 Elections, the US advised him to return home to his death.

The question is why did MKO trust the US?

Remember, MKO campaigned with a demand from the US for reparation for the years of slavery.

MkO's argument was sound. The argument would not have endeared him to the US, so his Presidency was not something to look forward to.

Between, Obi and BAT, who would the US prefer?

Unlike Nigeria, every country on earth looks out for what is in their best interest.

Today, the US is after their best interest in a diplomatic way and diplomacy is the art of telling a fellow to go to hell and he will look forward to the journey.

Whoever is declared winner is for them to work through. They will not come out in the open to condemn or commend.

Whatever works for them is theirs.

They did not become what they are overnight. We too can get there.

Whatever help they render to us must be guided by their own self interest. It won't come free but at a cost either in cash or kind.

It is the way of the world, world without end.
