Doing the work of the Courts

Mahmud Yakubu said, Nigerians should go to court. In a civilized world, the courts are there as a last resort.

Somehow, like a little child caught in error, Mahmud, says, report me to my

favourite uncle.

To the courts, we have resorted but with a caveat. The caveat, is that PMB, having desecrated the temple of Justice by his treatment or is it maltreatment or mistreatment of Onnoghen leaves us with no option than to seek other means.

Those means are coming gradually in the form of BBC's investigation. Can BBC do what they are doing were the case in a British Court?

If PMB and Mahmud Yakubu think, their favourite uncle can subvert the will of the people then the voice of the people is no longer the voice of God.

They should keep mum and keep watching. Rivers and Plateau! Lagos will come again. By the time others start rolling in, PMB and Yakubu will sue for out of court settlement.

I am not a soothsayer but the portends are just there for ordinary interpretation.

In the end, and it is my prayer the hallowed chambers of the courts would serve as a last resort and no more the chambers of first recourse.
