Where is Justice?

As PMB prepares to leave office, let me remind him of the saying that the last mile home is the longest.

As IBB has since, realized, once you are out of office, to undo the things you did become almost impossible.

While a teacher, a senior colleague of

mine came visiting after retirement and I was shocked by the reception he got.

He just couldn't walk into the boss's office, he had to sit at the reception. I was really confused but that was it, he had become a visitor not an insider, so too every man of the moment.

Try as much as you can to plant a successor it is still and will continue to be the call of the incumbent.

MC Oluomo made threats in respect of the 2023 Elections and the Police called it a joke. Talk of the tail wagging the dog! They were preempting and speaking for him since they could not even caution him.

True to his threat, voters were intimidated and assaulted and nothing happened to him.

Much later, Eze Ndigbo not of Lagos, not of South West but of Ajao Estate, threatens to invite IPOB to defend the interests of Igbos if they continue to be attacked and he is promptly arrested.

Talk of double standards. The sooner Nigeria realizes the Igbo man does not breathe or rely on political power, the better for our corporate existence.

What the powers that be have done is to pretend that some people are untouchable.

Nothing can be farther from the truth. When fire has not choked, you can pick and choose.

We have peace and instead of being careful we are abusing peace with injustice.

MC Oluomo made a threat and carried it out. Nothing happened.

Someone makes a threat in self defence and he is promptly arrested.

What has happened is double standards : simple.

  2. Sometimes we act as if the world belongs to us. But Almighty God does not share His glory with any man, if we are in doubt let us learn from Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar and Heroad Agrippa and what of the so-called great men of the world? One day we will stand in front of the Almighty and like they say "God's judgement, no appeal".
