The many controversies surrounding BAT

Like a thief in the night, BAT entered the political equation of Lagos State. On a sympathy level, he was favoured over his closest political rival, for being a NADECO member.

Then like a trojan he took over. The

finger that sympathetically fed him, he bit off bit by bit and became the godfather.

Lagos has a unique place in the South West. Supplanting, Ibadan, it is the go to place in terms of employment and cash.

From Lagos, BAT started eyeing the entire South West as a fiefdom, sponsoring his acolytes all over the South West and Kogi with Kwara State.

Gradually he grew in stature playing God in Lagos and throwing his weight all over by forming his own parties.

Fast forward to 2023 and scandals started falling out.

In the South, the South West had the first shot at Presidency. Then followed the South South.

In all fairness, the South East should get it in 2023.

BAT knew and came out with a plan. The story was planted that Obj was not a Yoruba man but the son of his mother's boyfriend. 

Surprised?

Then Emilokan happened.

BAT is smart but if he thinks he can outsmart the whole Nigeria, then he is not close enough to IBB.

What is the evidence?

They are legion: Drug case in the US. Citizenship of Guinea and many more.

Even if BAT survives all these controversies, many questions would be hovering over his head.

The question is, was he wrong in running?

No.

Every problem has a life span. His end is near and to get to the end, he had to run.

Run he has and the end is nigh.
