Jega's strange analysis

I have said it before, a revolution is taking place in Nigeria.

When did it happen that a President Elect will visit a bank chairman on a courtesy call, not the bank chairman

visiting the President Elect?

When did an INEC chairman analyse the results of the Elections conducted by his successor?

Novel as they are, both events came as an offshoot of the revolutionary 2023 Elections.

What surprises me is that glaring as the irregularities were, some people are making deep pronouncements on the result.

The import of Jega's an analysis is that the elections were evidently not rigged. Hmmmm?

It is either that Jega has been bought over or he was not in Nigeria, during the elections.

Jenga is not the only ex INEC official speaking. It is like there is a concerted effort to cover the truth.

The bravado of INEC in court is bemusing.

They should do all they can while it is still daylight.

Eventually, the truth will come out.

In Church, I was picked as a member of a committee to investigate some matter concerning a ranking member of my church society.

To my surprise, the immediate predecessor to the man under investigation, rose up in defence of his successor. His excuse was that any attempt to probe the fellow, was also an attempt to bring himself under spotlight. Huh?

What occurred to me was if the defender had skeletons in his cupboard.

I think, it is the same thing we should be asking Jega.

If an organization in which you were head is to be sanitized, you should rejoice because at the end of the day, it remains alive.

Should it die, a part of your record of service goes down the drain.

Following from this, Jega should not engage in whitewash but a thorough clean up, lest the rot claims his record of service.

Am I missing something?
