The Bad man of 2023 Nigerian Elections

As kids, we watched a lot of Western Films. There were the actors and the Bad men.

Were, 2023 Nigerian Elections to be a

western, Obi would be the actor and BAT would be the Bad man.

While Obi is the overwhelming favourite, BAT by a mile would be the Bad Man they found really difficult to arrest.

Love him or hate him, today in Nigerian Politics, BAT is the one many love to hate but somehow, he is irrepressibly pushing on.

It appears that the more obstacles they push his way the more he escapes like a typical Bad Man.

There is excitement about the 2023 Elections and it is down to the state of privation in Nigeria and die hard nature of BAT in his quest for the Presidency which he says is his life long ambition.

Truth be told as a man with the limitations of man, he had nurtured his ambition patiently and were not for the limitations imposed by God and man, he would have been well on the way to clinching the coveted  crown.

As a strategist he had put together a huge financial war chest. For foot soldiers, he had empowered and planted many people in strategic positions, hoping on their loyalty.

Man proposes but God disposes. Age and ill health have caught up with him. War chest, seemingly is incapable of stopping him from saying things that grate the ears like F11. What grade is that?

I hear he has Parkinson.

By the current political configuration in Nigeria, BAT knows it is the turn of the South East. Atiku knows, too.

APC his Party tried to deny him the Presidential ticket through many tricks but like a skilful Bad man he out manoeuevred the Party emerging with the flag.

Today, he is running his race seemingly alone. The Party and the government, Obi and Atiku are ranged in battle against him but he soldiers on.

Like him or hate him, even the Bad men in old Western films would envy him.
