How will Emefiele survive these times?
Shehu Sani is one privileged Nigerian who likes to ruffle the feathers of the Nigerian elite.
I had this boss, who says there is no
room you will sweep without finding sand.Shehu Sani recently Twitted that Wamakko Aliu wants Emefiele's scalp.
Wamakko's grouse is that Emefiele's twin policies of Naira redesign and Cash Withdrawal limit were anti - North.
The way some people talk about North, you think, it is a separate Country.
Like Jesus Christ said in the case of the woman caught in the Act of Adultery, he who is without Sin, let him be the first to cast a stone.
I wonder what Emefiele's real sin is?
He had told politicians at his screening that he was there to do their will.
He had attempted to contest for Presidency even while in office.
Is he suffering a backlash of his failed Presidential bid?
Back to Shehu Sani, without stating why Wamakko, wanted Emefiele's scalp, Shehu Sani, had urged Emefiele's friends in the National Assembly not to abandon him.
This case without knowing the merits brings me to mind of the leadership style of three Nigerian Presidents: Obj, GEJ and PMB.
Nasir El Rufai, as FCT Minister called Nigerian Legislators fools. The National Assembly, were pacified by Obj, his Boss.
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as CBN Governor, blew the whistle on GEJ, alleging corruption. GEJ did nothing but deny.
Emefiele is being harassed even after PMB had stated that Emefiele's Naira redesign has his blessings. What is PMB's stance? Is Emefiele on his own?
It is interesting to delve into the meaning of Emefiele. It means, do not transgress.
Has Emefiele transgressed? Against Wanakko, the North or Nigeria?
Time surely will tell.
The little I remembered CBN leadership for are;
ReplyDelete1. Stopped citizens from trading Crypto currency.
2. Blocked the accounts of #EndSARS financiers.
I can't remember the CBN leadership saying or doing something tangible on Boko Haram financiers. Nigeria has thousands of Chartered Accountants, IT auditors, Forensic investigators etc yet nothing happened. I remember Dubai sanctioned some Nigerians due to Boko Haram financing/money laundering. I didn't know where the case ended.
The way we practice rule of law is different.
God help Nigeria!
Compliment of the season.
Same to you
