From Bloomberg to IMF, we can do better
Bloomberg have raised doubts about the CBN and it's Devaluation plans.
Now, IMF are casting aspersions on our
economic policies.I have always believed that International organizations are about members.
While this is true, every organization has its raison d'etre.
Fingers are not equal and so International organizations are made up of unequal members.
Is it a wonder that Europe and the US share headship of IMF and the World Bank among themselves?
For us to get the right end of the stick from IMF and World Bank, we have to put our houses in order and depend less on handouts from these imperial organizations.
Their prescriptions cannot take us anywhere.
Forever, they would cast aspersions on the value of our currencies.
Sadly, they think otherwise of the Chinese currency.
African countries have raw materials. They have scientists and Engineers but industrialization is eluding us.
The Chinese are exploding with industrial exports but we are lagging.
We need to up our game. The starting point is for us to believe in ourselves.
Excellent One 👍.
ReplyDeleteSince we refused to be productive - industrialize, the entire continent is fast becoming a dumping ground.
Developed national are seriously attracting the best of brains in science, technology and engineering but Africa is looking FDI with abundant natural resources the almighty God bless us with.
Thank you
