Nigeria still dreaming of a National Airline


 

Dreams, they say, die first. Nigeria is

still dreaming of a National Carrier.

The latest information is that only Ethiopian Airlines believe well enough in Nigeria to answer our advertisement for a technical partner to Our National Carrier - Nigeria Air.

Interestingly, Nigerian Government still retains 5%, Nigerian private sector 46% and Ethiopian Airlines 49%.

What it means is that Nigeria has 51% in total and Ethiopian Airlines 49%.

Ethiopian Airlines are believed to be among the most profitable Airlines in the world.

To me it looks like the Ethiopians are treading, where Angels dread to go.

Remember, Virgin and Charles Branson. Atedo Peterside put his blood on the line, it never worked.

Other experienced Airlines ignored the Advert but Ethiopian Airlines jumped at it.

It appears that they know something which the world does not know.
