Good News on the Security Front

Nigeria has always been God's project. Two recent events on the security front

serve to reinforce this view.

The first is the story of soldiers burning the camp of bandits around Abuja.

The second is court judgement against herdsmen!

That soldiers are worsting bandits is expected, except that it is long in coming.

I have always known that the missing factor in our war on terror is the Political will. Could it be the result of the threat of impeachment?

After all we have a legislature. Kudos to them.

That of the court judgement on herders is the more surprising. For too long have they been promoted beyond their level. Very often they were termed untouchable. When I saw the News of herdsmen sentenced to death in Niger. I had to be sure it is not Niger Republic. When I saw Minna, I was pleasantly surprised.

Talk of the power of a woman. They destroyed farms. Nothing happened. They killed and maimed, nothing happened.

But when they robbed a housewife, something happened. They were sentenced to death.

Will the Governor assent to the sentence? Time will tell.

Whichever way you look at it, God is still reigning in the world, especially Nigeria.
