Festus Keyamo mired in APC Mud

 

Festus Keyamo is a classic case of Paradise Lost. A faithful acolyte of Late

Gani Fawehinmi, Keyamo is a key apologist of this misfiring APC Government.

Not too long ago, he boasted that there was no law stopping a Minister from being a spokesman for his Party. Then he boasts that he can drive from Abuja to Kaduna.

Finally, he gleefully announces that BAT saved Nigeria from a one party state.

Festus Keyamo would by now have been a proud contender in a new Obidient Government but no, he is mired in the mud of APC Politics.

Like others in APC and PDP, such a brilliant young man now belongs to a forbidden relic of our mis governance.

Would Gani Fawehinmi have been happy with Keyamo's present role?

When Governors from across Party lines, come together to bribe a civil servant for revenue allocation as alleged of the oil producing states bribing the Accountant General, then where is the plurality of ideas as expected in a multi party Democracy?

Of course, Keyamo cannot claim not to know that Atiku of PDP was a Presidential candidate of BAT's party.

It will be interesting to read Festus Keyamo's account of his stewardship in Government.

He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria but a Minister of State for Labour. Please do not ask me of his input in resolving ASUU crisis but you have abundant evidence of his litany of arguments in favour of this odious Government.

Keyamo is a classic example of the flexibility of the law. Hence he can openly defend an APC Government whose failings, in addition to the weakness of the PDP Government it succeeded, is giving Filip to the Obidient movement.
