When our leaders see nothing good in us, who will?

 

To go on vacation is not a bad thing. Even God rested on the seventh day.

However, when our leaders choose to

do it abroad, then one wonders who will ever think of vacationing in our land.

Ordinarily, those in leadership positions are supposed to be brimming with patriotism but a patriot who will rather market foreign products than his own lacks patriotism.

You can never catch an American President drink Coca cola in public. It has to be Pepsi.

Peter Obi promotes Innoson Motors for a reason, it is Patriotism.

Our leaders must learn to create holiday resorts at home and then watch foreigners flock there. As private citizens they may be freer with their choices but when public funds are involved, they ought to be thinking of multiplier effects of their choices.

Everything does not have to be legislated upon. Just like the Bible says that it is the narrow road that leads to life, so too our leaders must lead the way in making difficult but sensible and sensitive choices.
