When ambition buries patriotism

Ordinarily, politicians should be driven by zeal for their fatherland. But today's

problems are the least of the problems of our today's politicians.

It is quite unsettling. Firstly, Atiku disavows zoning. BAT agrees with PMB to handover to him without considering the feelings of the South East.

The current situation of things, unemployment, poor power supply, inflation, Nigerians relocating abroad, terrorism and many more has not in any way tempered the thinking of our politicians.

They are buying votes and considering Muslim/ Muslim ticket as if all the talk of Islamization of Nigeria holds no water. How insensitive can politicians be?

For the avoidance of doubt, our constitution recognizes our plurality and has in place safeguards against domination by any group.

For today's politicians to be behaving as if we are a monolithic society beggars belief.

Finally, my take is that whoever sows the wind, should reap the whirlwind.
