The Owo Church Killing and changing narratives
Those who carried out the Owo killings in a Catholic Church on Pentecost day
may have acted out of ignorance. Pentecost day is the Birthday of the church. It is the outpouring of the Holy spirit to banish fear from the people of God. Attacking the Church on such an auspicious day is the height of ignorance.
The seed of faith of the people have been further fertilized with the blood of the deceased of that cowardly incident.
Those who carried out the killing at a time candidates are being picked in our Presidential election are cowards who lack the courage to open up on their true intentions.
Our God is never asleep and he is more than able to act in his own time.
That time may be enough for the cowards to repent and like St. Paul preach against what they practiced.
Of the changing narratives, they are legion.
Was the attack inside or outside the church?
Was Mass on or over?
Did the attack start outside or inside?
What about being holed up for twenty minutes?
Were explosives used or not?
How about the unexpired explosives found in the church?
God cannot be mocked!
So sad an incident.
ReplyDeleteHad our security agencies been up and doing over the years, we wouldn't have to be in this mess again.
Unfortunately the tentacles of the evil is spreading fast.
Our hope is in the name of the Lord.
Who made Heaven and Earth
DeleteMay the good Lord have mercy on them all. Attacking the Church is attacking the Head of the Church Jesus Christ Himself and like He responded in the case of Saul He will respond at His own time "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me" and the effects and consequences will be very visible to all and forever.
