Ekweremadu as a metaphor for hopeless Nigerians

Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife are fighting for their freedom. Their

case is dicey but very useful.

It is useful in the sense that it brings to the fore an endemic problem in Nigeria.

Many a Nigerian has obtained asylum abroad based on a tissue of lies. Some of the lies are damaging to individuals and some damaging to the country.

Personally, I feel that a Peter Obi Presidency should change the narrative. Many people do not know Peter Obi.

The truth of the matter is that Peter Obi is real. Some say he is stingy. Some wonder why he was not making noise before the current Election. Some have also wondered why he saved money instead of using it. They also claimed he did so thinking his successor would be a puppet.

Peter is no Saint but to be thrifty is no stinginess. We need people who will manage our resources not waste them.

As for those wondering why he was not making his voice heard before now? Even now he is not making noise. His tremendous records are speaking for him.

The man is rich but chose not to go into the lottery that was the PDP primaries. In 2019 he was Atiku's running mate. Essentially Atiku head hunted him to boost his image. Thank God, today he belongs to an untainted Party. Basically, things are falling into shape for him.

As for his records of saving money instead of spending it. Who wouldn't love to have savings? Of all the Governors, he alone saved money. His successor, fell apart with him, but recently, the same man described as a Miracle the performance of Peter Obi in the health sector.

I doubt if there would be repercussions for non Obedient Nigerians but they should ponder why people are being Obedient without inducement?

Obi is a breath of fresh air. Some families have been torn apart due to a desire to flee from Nigeria. We can reverse the trend by being Obedient.
