Change of Baton

 

Like in a relay, the narratives on the 2023 Elections, are changing from BAT to Obi. Until the

conclusion of the APC Primaries, it was all about BAT, to be or not to be, but now it is all about Obi.

It is said that any publicity good or bad is publicity all the same. That is what is happening now.

When Anambra State is not debunking claims on Peter Obi's Investments and their present value, people are willy nilly campaigning for him.

While many are decrying his lack of structure, unexpected persons at surprising places are openly declaring for him. Meanwhile, the man of the moment is seemingly saying nothing.

Indeed his past of almost eight years is speaking for him.

For those who are laughably suggesting that Pastors are against his candidacy because he would solve the problems that took them to church, my measured response is that a PeterObi Presidency is nothing but a measure of God's deliverance of Nigerians.

Pastors would no longer refer to the deliverance of Jews from Egypt but that of Nigerians from the clutches of evil politicians.

Now that INEC has agreed to extend Voter Registration by 60 days, the old guard should be ready for the shock of their lives.

Nigerians are desirous of retaking their country and their destiny and God willing, the time has come and it is now happening.
