BAT is back

BAT is back but for the wrong reasons. While the Peter Obi miracle is still

unfolding, suddenly, BAT is having negative publicity and MC Oluomo has declared him President, certificate or no certificate. Even former fire eater Bayo Onanuga of The News, says those talking about BAT's Certificates are PDP.

Why do Politicians like to act shady?

BAT knows that morally speaking, he can only function well with the likes of MC Oluomo but society demands more.

Nigerian Presidency deserves more than GEJ who was tarnished as clueless. Nigeria deserves more than PMB who has proved to be an ethnic champion.

With our youths unemployed and many Nigerians daily voting against Nigeria with their feet, we need an Obi.

  1. I like your concluding part. The only hope is a new Nigeria.

The present structure has failed the majority. Inequality keeps widening. Our weak institutions contributed not in a small way.
We are just who we are.

  2. I will never give Obi a pass mark because I don't think it's only during elections anymore who means well for his society would come out with rhetoric. He should have made his presence felt from the beginning by championing the cause of the masses and explaining alternatives to government policies with facts and figures. Coming out only during elections is the highest point of insincerity. That's why he won't make much impact mark my word.

    1. I sincerely agree with Boss Oye. Obi should be more strategic about his ambition of this nature. However, the challenge with this country is beyond what Obi may be thinking of. The President Nigerians need is a type that will not have sympathy for the rogues, touts, cabal, etc that have been making life difficult for the poor masses. What's Obi's charisma, and how prepared is he for the battle ahead? Why I have said this is that many of these people have been coming out on the basis of sentiments to gain sympathy. GEJ did by canvassing on the basis of he had no shoes when he was a teenager and that he knew the feelings of the poor. Buhari did by saying he had been denied his rights three times via rigged election as he claimed, and that he could fight Boko Haram hands down. Tinubu has lobbied on the basis of "Emi lokan" going by their pre-determined arrangement since 2015. Atiku is planning to work for sympathy votes on the basis of his several denials too while Obi will be fighting back on the basis of rights denied of his people. So what I see here it's all about sentiments from all candidates. I have not seen anyone ready and prepared to address real Nigeria's challenges and problems. Who among them has clearly and sincerely identified the country's mistakes made past leaders and proposed the strategies that he has on ground to proffer solutions and mitigate recurrence. None! So what are we now saying... It's a big shame!

    2. MBA, surprisingly, Obi is not projecting himself but his records are projecting him.
