PMB on Deborah Samuel
Expectedly, PMB has condemned the burning of Shehu Shagari College of
Education, student . He has called for a probe. As a Muslim , in this matter his actions would be viewed with care. Fellow Muslims would expect support and others especially Christians would expect condemnation
He did not support. He has condemned. The British High Commission have demanded Justice .
PMB has commended the Police for their swift action.
Make no mistake about it. What has happened in Sokoto, the seat of the Caliphate has more dimensions than can be seen.
It is a banana peel and the first casualty is Turakin Adamawa who was said to have condemned the act, only for him to deny it. What do you make of that?
The British High Commission have called for Justice.
In PMB's statement, I did not see that. But what is important is that the perpetrators are brought to book.
This is a wrong time to recall handling of such events in the past. So far the Police have not impressed. Making only two arrests is scandalous.
Mark my words. A shoddy handling of the unfortunate incident would be the downfall of many an influential individual and group.
God is alive!
God is alive, this is certain. The true Muslims Will never support such act because it's unislamic.
ReplyDeleteWe have Muslims in the other parts of the country too, but we have never heard of such acts being committed in the west or the east.
We all expect that the perpetrators should be made to face justice so as to serve as a deterrent to others especially in the northern part of the country.
This is Also a challenge to their Islamic scholars over there that they still have a great work to do in enlightening their people of the teachings of i
Their Islamic scholars still have a great work to do in the true teaching of Islam.
ReplyDeleteWe will be making a big mistake to think justice will be done in this matter. Indeed I can bet that just like many others of its type, it will soon go under the carpet. We will even be lucky if others are not massacred in addition to the slain girl. We are dealing with highly indoctrinated minds who do not destroying everything to defend their faith. Sadly, most of their sect who are not on rampage secretly support all their condemnable actions
ReplyDeleteIndeed, that is the sad aspect, the hidden sponsors
DeleteI really do not understand why people act in their selfish interest disguising under religion. How could someone be so cruel like that! Too barbaric. There's more to this in my view and there must be justice to avert recurrence in future. May her soul rest in perfect peace. God bless Nigeria. Amen
ReplyDeleteAmen. Exactly my thoughts.
