PMB, Abuja should not fall to terrorists


 

Abuja is the seat of power. After about 7 years of a disappointing rule, the North

is jittery about handing power over to the South.

Late General Owoye Azazi in his life time described Boko Haram as PDP politics. 

Today banditry has been added to Boko Haram.

My worry is that Abuja appears to be under siege. If banditry and Boko Haram are Political and they are nearing Abuja, then let the conspiracy theorists take over.

PMB cut the figure of a patriot when he unseated Shagari. When he fought tooth and nail to win elections under Democracy, he equally mouthed patriotism and many gave him not only their ears but their votes.

Today, all he stood for and was known for are crumbling under his watch. So sad.

Between now and 2023, he still has a chance to burnish his image that for now is really nothing close to the legacy he had promised.

The way he worsted Maitatsine is still in the record books. He should not allow terrorism into Abuja under his watch.
