If Atiku loves Nigeria, he should count his Blessings



Turakin Adamawa, Abubakar Atiku, was a protege of Late Shehu Musa

Yar'Adua. Shortly after he was Elected Governor of Adamawa State, he was nominated as running mate to Obj.

4 years later as VP, he tried unsuccessfully to supplant Obj with the help of some PDP Governors like Orji Uzor Kalu.

Ever since, he has been trying to clinch the topmost post in Nigeria. For a country that is failing in all indices, the best Atiku can do is to seek to run as President again.

Truth be told, Atiku knows that beyond ego trip, he has nothing to offer. If I were Atiku, I will cut my losses and concentrate on my private life.

To be Vice President with the kind of reputation he has is a blessing. To be Vice President, on being Elected a Governor is a double honour.

History has a record of bigmen who end up in jail after serving the people in public office, may Turaki not toe that path. For now he should be counting his Blessings.
