Discordant voices on Deborah Samuel


 

In the hierarchy of Nigerian citizens,

we know that there are Moslems and Christians.

There are the Alhajis and others. The Alhajis, first and others follow.

Among the Alhajis, we have the mumus and the wise ones.

The Mumus come before the wise ones.

This dichotomy explains the broken tongues in our response to the killing of Deborah Samuel.

The Police made only two arrests and vandals went to town to demand their release.

The Sokoto State Government have imposed a curfew. No arrests have been reported.

Who is fooling who?
