APC's Dummy Choice
BAT is confident of winning APC Primary Election for the choice of a
Presidential Candidate.Should he get elected, like his man Atiku, it would still be a Pyrrhic Victory.
This may be difficult to understand, but in simple terms, BAT gets his wish and the North backs their own man Atiku.
But will the Presidency go North?
Not so fast. It could be a 3 - Cornered race with Peter Obi in the East, BAT in the West and Atiku in the North.
Barring rigging, Peter Obi stands a good chance courtesy of protest votes across the country.
Peter Obi stands heads and shoulders above BAT and Atiku not in politicking but in terms of age, solid achievements in office and a better record in terms of accountability.
In a country in dire need of redirection, Atiku and BAT should be in the elders' corner not in the ring.
BAT and Atiku are united in wanting the office of President real bad. Even if it were to be a 2 - way race, only one will get it. Age wise they may not be completely out but the exigencies of today require a trusted hand like Obi.
BAT and Atiku can spend all the money they want but the climate of today requires a President from the South East, a Christian and a proven performer.
Peter Obi ticks all the right boxes.

ReplyDeleteFor Obi to win, we all have role to play, if each and everyone of us must come out to perform our civic responsibility that day. Obi might win.
Secondly, LP needs to form strategic alliance now to spread their base and capture more areas.
We seriously need someone like Obi to refocus Nigeria and rights the wrongs.
