Nigerian Law makers and their crocodile tears

I refuse to accept the stance of

Nigerian Federal Law makers in respect of Insecurity in Nigeria. Their threat to shut down the National Assembly should be followed by a submission of their International passports at the police station nearest to their constituency office.

The problem of Insecurity is much their responsibility as that of the Presidency. As the Representatives of the people, they should start by telling us what they know, for the insurgents are their constituents and are not faceless.

What are their demands? What are their methods of operation?

Do they know Sheikh Gumi? In whose interest does he hobnob with the insurgents?

Is he not doing the work of the so called Representatives? If the Law makers are not representing the people, they should resign and let the Gumis of this world take over.

This is the time for them to justify their pay and not turncoat and runaway. They cannot be running with the Hare and hunting with the Hound.

  1. It's really unfortunate that they are even thinking of running away from their responsibilities.
Like you actually stated, let them submit their passport at their designated constituencies, to assure us that they are still in the country. Not shutting down the National Assembly and leaving the country.
