National Security Adviser: who is talking too much?

 Almost every one knows why the war against Insecurity is failing except the

National Security Adviser. A bad workman usually complains of his tools. Now, our National Security Adviser is blaming everyone but himself.

Blaming himself would have been odd. At least he knows that the war against Insecurity is a failure.

After throwing blames, he ought to throw in the towel. 

2023 is around the corner. Pitiably, his tenure would come to an end. Perhaps, he could write a book or look for another job in the private sector.

You know people like that are well sought after in the private sector for their knowledge of the working of Government.

In Nigeria, Government is the cash cow. Government officials award contracts to the private sector and split the proceeds.

Who better to bid for Government contract than an ex official of Government?

That Government appears incapable of taming Insecurity is largely due to a lack of Political will to kill a brother. Brother in this sense is not in Nationalism but Religion.

To think and believe otherwise  is to be living in denial.
