Some are born great. Some have greatness thrust upon them. Some

achieve greatness.

Col Umar Rtd is all three rolled into one. He was born great as an aristocrat. He was an IBB boy. If you know, you know. By dint of fearlessness, he achieved greatness.

One of the marks of greatness is simplicity. According to Professor Anya O Anya,   the Mark of a genius is that, when he talks, you ask yourself, why you did not think about it.

Col Umar Rtd has made another witty interjection in our Political life. In his usual way, he has asked the Federal Government to choose Security over Census and I ask myself if that is not obvious enough?

But I really did not think of it. Honestly, Col Umar Rtd is one name that can sell like hot cake any day but he chooses to shun opportunism and align with positive change not the counterfeit promised by the ruling party.

On this Easter Day, for his forthrightness and fearlessness, in spite of the fact that he is a muslim, I pray for God's Blessings upon him. Amen.
