Kaduna train attack and NIN


 


Were Fela Anikulapo Kuti to be alive, he would in all probability dub the

present blocking of telephone lines as Government magic.

A train was bombed. Casualties are recorded. Hostages are taken and then next, telephone lines are blocked for not being linked to NIN.

No doubt, the move is a grand plan to block the terrorists. The Federal Government deserves a Nobel prize for ingenuity. The only problem is that, so far the handling of the terrorists and their financiers does not in the least inspire confidence.

At best the move is intended for most likely, other purposes than the apparent.

For now the power to block lines is in the hands of the Government and they have wielded the big stick. I hope the government proves me wrong by dealing the terrorists a mortal blow by this big move.
